Common questions
Who does the Vietnam Tet calendar apply to?
Public employees with Saturday–Sunday rest. Tet 2027 runs February 4–10. Private-employer schedules can differ.
Are Hong Kong general and statutory holidays the same?
No. Our calendar lists general holidays. Employee statutory holidays are a separate list: March 26–27, 2027 are general holidays only; Winter Solstice or Christmas Day is an employer choice.
Is the Thailand calendar for banks or government offices?
Financial institutions. October 16, 2026 applies to Bangkok only; southern regional additions are outside our standard list.
Does a Singapore Saturday public holiday move to Monday?
Not automatically. Under the Employment Act, a Saturday non-working day gives another day off or pay in lieu. A holiday on a Sunday rest day moves to the next working day.
Why can I view China 2027 but not calculate its workdays?
Our China 2027 calendar lists statutory dates, without the annual adjusted days off and make-up workdays. It is therefore outside the workday calculator and leave optimizer’s supported calendars.
